Dear Brothers & Sisters in Islam
Assalam wo alaikum wo rahmatullahi wo barakatuhu
I am happy to bring to your notice our site "Islamic Banking and Finance Net"
with URL:
http://www.ximb.stpbh.soft.net/faculty/obeid/if.htm
The site is intended to be particularly useful to students and researchers in the field of
economics, banking, finance, and business. It contains announcement about an International
Training Program in Islamic Banking and Finance; an assortment of research papers in the
area which may be downloaded, links to sites of a large number of Islamic banks and
financial institutions and financial markets; provides information about scholars
contributing to the discipline and universities where such work is being undertaken.
In short, it seeks to provide for a one-stop
resource center in the field.
I would particularly like to draw your attention to the International Training Program
with FREE registration for the Core Module on Shariah and Finance, and a special fee
waiver for students. The program has an international advisory panel of widely known
academicians (please see details below), is offered through the distance learning mode and
supplements a standard graduate program in economics, banking, finance and business
administration.
I request you to disseminate information about the program among the student community in
any manner you deem fit.
I also request you to provide a link to our site with URL mentioned above.
Regards, wassalam
Dr Mohammed Obaidullah
