Order of The Ancient Way.

• Who are we and what are we about?

• The Order of The Ancient Way, previously known as the religion with no name has been in existence for thousands of years. The reason we have come forward at this time is that it is time.
• We are not so much a religion as a way of life practiced religiously.
• We do not adhere to dogma as we do not have any belief system.We only adhere to the principle of that which is provable, reasonable and logical.
• We consider ourselves to be the only religion which does not require that common sense and reason be put aside.
• In the Ancient Way the word priest only means teacher as it always has done and does not imply the ability to communicate with any deity. What other religions consider to be their badge of honour such as charity.etc we just hold as normal human behaviour.
• We consider men and women as being equal but different, the difference being obvious.

• How do we operate?

• Anyone may become a Priest/Priestess.
• Starting at the lower level we have the novice Priest/Priestess.(up to three years probation)
• Next we have Priests/Priestesses.
• Exalted Priest/Priestess.
• Caulbearer High Priest. The High Priesthood is reserved only for Caulbearers as a protection against takeovers by those who wish only to further their own ends.
• Grand High Priest/Priestess.
• Great Grand High Priest/Priestess of which there is usually only one per country.
• Supreme High Priest/Priestess who is appointed by their predecessor for life. This can not be changed in his/her lifetime for any reason.
• We have a certain degree of secrecy for the protection of the Order. We have those who wish to keep their membership secret for various reasons of their own and we respect their right to make this choice.
