was set up to co-ordinate suitable events.

These are but a few of the generations which passed through the
school on the little rock.

All names may be found in the history of
Carrigeen School, entitled "To School by the
Banks". The signifance of the
"banks" is well known to those who
walked to school on raised banks
or "ditches". The nearest "bank"
is from the Church to Licketstown.

The book is being officially
launched at Ryan's Place Thursday June
28 at 8.30pm. Copies will be signed by
author. Kilkenny Local Radio will be present. All
are cordially invited to reception of wine
and cheese.
