This page simply contains links to the variouspicture and painting pages on the site. We have divided them toreduce loading time, and also because the pictures belong todifferent categories, but you may find that they still take a whileto load as they are very graphic intensive. Rhododendron Festival 2003- a selection of photographs from the first ever Rhododendron Festival held on the June bank holiday weekend 2003.

Shanrahan Graveyard- an excellent selection of shots taken on a very fine day in January 2003.

Christmas Party 2002 : due to time constraints the photos have not been named so you may have fun trying to recognise some of the characters encountered.

Paintings from the Area : a collection of four splendid paintings depicting Baylough, Loughglenbridge, River Duag at Shanrahan and Shanrahan Church. This really is a fine collection from renowned Carlow artist Eilís O'Neill. She has spent much time in the past number of  years painting in the area as her neice is married here.
Old Postcards from the Area : a collection of old postcard shots from Clogheen with their up to date counterparts for comparison.

Summer /Autumn : a wonderful collection of photographs including an autumnal walk in Shanrahan, a summer shot of Baylough, the resplendant rhododendron in full bloom, the magnificent Knockmealdown mountains and a few others. There are quite a few photos on the page so it will take a little while to load, especially if you are using a slow modem (56Kbps or less). The pictures are, however, well worth the wait.

Spring : a collection of 3 pictures. Main street, a picture of the recent confirmation class in Clogheen and a view of the work at hand for the farming community in this fine Spring.

February - May : four lovely pictures on this page venturing a little outside the immediate Clogheen area. There are two lovely pictures of the Vee, a particularly pleasant stream on the Lismore road and a view of the sea at Helvic Head, Co. Waterford.

Christmas : a selection of photos giving the atmosphere of the town during the Christmas, including some shots from the kiddies Christmas party in the Community Hall.
Filming in Clogheen :Three pictures taken while Felicias Journey was being filmed in the town.

Old Postcards : Check out the web pages put up by Margaret and Jonathan Skean with postcards from Ireland picked up by Margaret's Grandparents on their trip here in 1910.
