Listowel Arms Hotel
Nestled in the South West corner of The Square, is a building with
many historical connections. Daniel O'Connell, Thackery, and Parnell
stayed there on occasion and local folklore has it that it was from
an upper window of this hotel that "the uncrowned king of Ireland"
made his famous declaration : "No man has a right to set a boundary
to the march of a nation."
In more recent times the premises was owned for a while by the tenor
Josef Locke. Click Here to visit
