Cruising

River and Canal Cruising facilities are well developed in Ireland. The waterways are among the cleanest in Europe. The River Shannon is the longest river (350kms) and is the most popular river cruising route. The new Shannon Erne Waterway links the River Shannon with the Erne across the frontier in Northern Ireland. Other popular waterways include the Grand Canal and the River Barrow.
