	The South Dublin Model Railway Club was founded in 1975 to foster the craft of Railway modelling in the Dundrum and South Dublin area. The Club meets every Wednesday evening in the Town Hall in Lucan. Members are involved in modelling in a range of Scales and Gauges from 'N' Gauge to Gauge 1. The Club members have built layouts for exhibition use, including some for the Irish National Railway Company, Iarnród Éireann, and others.
