The Unofficial MUD2 Home Page
"You haven't lived until you've died in MUD!"
Note: these pages are currently under the swamp and waiting for
a convenient reset...
If you are a fan of the original Essex MUD by Richard Bartle and Roy Trubshaw,
or its descendant, MUD2, then this is the page for you.
I've tried to collect as much general (and not so general) information about
MUD1, MUD2, and British Legends onto this page as possible. Although these
pages are no longer actively maintained, I hope you'll find them of some
use (if only for historical interest!) Please
email me if you spot any glaring
mistakes.
For visitors from other Internet MUDs, who have not yet had the pleasure
of playing the original and best, have a look around, and see where
it all started.
http://mud2.info/ has plenty of useful MUD2 information for players old and new.
The MUSE company home page is now
online.
Photos from the 1997 London MUD2 Meet are
now available for your viewing pleasure.
