South Dublin County Council has received planning applications for the Adamstown Railway Station and the Adamstown – Outer Ring Road Link Road.

The Railway station is located wholly within the Adamstown SDZ and comprises five platforms including a turnback facility, 300 space park and ride car park, bus terminus, taxi waiting, car set-down and bicycle parking areas.
The Link Road is approximately 2km in length and is partly within the Adamstown SDZ. The road comprises two traffic lanes, two dedicated bus lanes, two cycle lanes and two footpaths as well as a new bridge over the railway line on the R120 Newcastle Road together with proposals for access, crossing points, drainage, planting and boundary treatment.
The Adamstown Railway Station and Link Road planning applications have been validated by South Dublin County Council and must be determined before 28th February 2005.

The two planning applications are available for inspection at the Public Counter of the Planning Department, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24, as follows:-

9.30am – 3.30pm, Monday – Friday

Both planning applications are also available for inspection from Thursday 6th January 2005 in the Lucan Public Library, First Floor, Superquinn Shopping Centre, Newcastle Road, Lucan, Co. Dublin as follows:-

9.45am - 8.00pm, Monday – Thursday

9.45am – 4.30pm, Friday & Saturday

The applications may also be viewed online from Friday 7th January via the website and the South Dublin County Council website.

All submissions in respect of each planning application must be accompanied by the statutory planning submission fee of 20 euros and must clearly state the planning application to which they relate. Please note that a single submission may be made in respect of both planning applications only if accompanied by two planning fees.
