Eoin Keith continued his winning ways with a win in the Maulin Winter race which incorporated the Irish University Championships. Eoin surprisingly took the scalp of former international Paul Nolan who finished in second place ahead of Emmett Dunleavy who was best of all the University entrants just edging out fellow former junior international Martin Bradshaw.

Beth McCluskey took the women's race ahead of Emma Sokell who just edged out the Universities women's gold medallist Eilis Connery and silver medallist Eimear O'Brien in a tight finish. University team placings below. Fuller report later.
