The Press Return database is a marketing tool designed to help you in contacting journalists or editors from a range of media types in Ireland, the media types covered are; national newspapers, provincial newspapers, magazines, in-house publications, radio and television.
Press Return is available as a DOS based program only and can be used to generate mailmerge data files for the following word proccessing packages; Wordstar (DOS), Wordperfect 5.1 and Microsoft Word. There is also an option to export mailmerge data in raw ASCII format with one field per line. (Please note that the Wordstar option uses the ASCII comma delimited format)
The program can also be used to print labels and letters or, combined with a supplied faxing package and compatible fax modem, to do faxshots instead of mailshots.
The number of contact names available for each organisation depends on the size of the organisation and varies from one contact name for small outlets to aproximately 50 contact names for large outlets like the Irish Times.
