First Irish email Open Chess Tournament

The Irish Correspondence Chess Association (ICCA) announces the first Irish email Open tournament, for chess players living anywhere in Ireland (North or South), or who live abroad but are qualified to represent Ireland in ICCF competitions. This is an unrated promotional event to enable players to familiarise themselves with email chess and to identify players who may represent Ireland in future email team events. To enter or request further details, contact the Tournament Controller, Alasdair Alexander, at: aka@soton.ac.uk as soon as possible. All messages should be copied to Tim Harding, editor@chessmail.com for information purposes only. Entrants in Northern Ireland or Britain who wish to pay their entry fee/ICCA membership dues in sterling should also copy their messages to David Blair, elizabeth.blair@cableol.co.uk.
