Class 1 Microbiological Safety Cabinet 

All safety cabinets are independantly tested by the Bio Safety Biological Unit at C.A.M.R. Porton Down, exceeding BS 5726: Part 1 1992. 

An open fronted cabinet, through which the operator can carry out manipulations within the work area.  Room air flowing into the cabinet eliminates the escape of aerosols from the work area and is exhausted through a high efficiency HEPA filter.  Thus providing operator protection only.

An open fronted cabinet offering both operator and product protection giving sterile conditions over the product handling area.  This is achieved by recirculating a flow of filtered clean air over the work area together with an inflow of air through the work environment.

Bio Wright™ III  

Class III Microbiological Safety Cabinet  

All safety cabinets are independantly tested by the Bio Safety Biological Unit at C.A.M.R. Porton Down, exceeding BS 5726: Part 1 1992. 

This cabin separates the operator fron the product by a physical barrier i.e. it is a sealed enclosure with gloves mechanically attached to the visor.  An inlet HEPA filter allows clean air to be flushed through the system and exhausted via a HEPA filter to the outlet.

This is a Clean Air Module giving unidirectional outflow of clean air to better than class E of BS 5295.  It may be used on a variety of applications where product protection is critical.
