North Western Health Board
The North Western Health Board is the regional health authority for Counties Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim. The Board is responsible for public health service provision within the region through it's Community Care and Hospital Care Programmes.
The Community Care Programme consists of two Community Care Areas: Donegal Community Care, and Sligo\Leitrim Community Care. A wide range of community based professional health services are provided in each area, among which are the Environmental Health Services in Donegal and Sligo\Leitrim.
The Environmental Health Services in both areas carry out a range of advisory and enforcement functions within two broad divisions:Food Control, and Environmental Control
